Parents of a 19 year son with Autism, Sheila and her spouse Derek help to launch the first autism support class at his elementary school, where there are now 3 classes. He is flourishing and has gone on to high school and doing well. Sheila and her family continue to combat autism every day, with autism rarely winning the battle. She currently serves as the Chair for the 2017-2018 Philadelphia Autism Walk and on the Board of The Center for Autism.
