She is a Healthcare IT Professional at the Leading Children's Hospital in the country, as well as an Adjunct Professor at multiple universities.
Sheila founded a women's shoe boutique that became
web-based fashion company SOLES, A shoe experience selling women's accessories. She is a business consultant, self-taught web-builder and an award winning business plan writer.
Sheila is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Her hobbies include sewing, jewelry making, drawing and painting
Parents of a 20 year son with Autism, Sheila and her spouse Derek help to launch the first autism support class at his elementary school, where there are now 3 classes. He is flourishing and has gone on to high school and doing well. Sheila and her family continue to combat autism every day, with autism rarely winning the battle. She currently serves as the Chair for the 2017-2018 Philadelphia Autism Walk and on the Board of The Center for Autism. The family has raised over $50,000 for autism research.
