ABOUT SHEILA MITCHELL-GREEN

Sheila Mitchell-Green is a Wife, Mother, a Healthcare IT Project Manager, and Performance Improvement, Professional.​

She currently serves as an IS Portfolio Leader at the top Children's Hospital in the country, and recently was acknowledged as a "Breakthrough Maker" for project excellence in the building of the new King of Prussia Hospital.

​She is an Adjunct Professor at SJU; Peirce College and Temple University. Where she teaches Healthcare IT courses in the Bachelors, and Master's programs.

​She serves on the Board of Directors at PHMC (Public Health Management Corporation), and the Center for Autism

Sheila is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and The Philadelphia Kappa Silhouettes.

​Parents of a 21-year son with Autism, Sheila and her spouse Derek help to launch the first autism support class at his elementary school, where there are now 3 classes. They are often contacted to do outreach to families who struggle with their children on the spectrum. She served as the Chair for the 2017-2018 Philadelphia Autism Walk and continues to be an integral part of the Philadelphia committee. They have been in the “Grand Club” each year of participation and the family has raised over $70,000 for autism research.

​Family and friends compliment her for her ability to embrace hands-on projects Her hobbies include sewing, jewelry making, drawing, and painting.
