Sheila Mitchell-Green

 

Sheila Mitchell-Green is a wife, mother, IT professional and entrepreneur.  She is one of those woman most people ask "how do you find the time to do all that you do, yet she does and does them all well.

 

As a wife Sheila is married to one of Philadelphia's up and coming political leaders, Derek Green Esq., Special Counsel to The Majority Leader, Marian B. Tasco.  Derek's extensive work as a community servant is known throughout the city. Just keeping up with his social schedule is a full time job.

 

She has worked for over 20 years in healthcare revenue management, consulting and information technology.  She served over 15 years with one of the leaders in the healthcare IT industry and two of the top consulting firms in the world.

 

Sheila founded a web-based fashion company SOLES, A shoe experience selling women's accessories.  She is the buyer, and the web-designer. She is a business consultant, self taught web-builder and an award winning business plan writer. (read more on the "Entrepreneurship Page").

 

A mother of a 10 year son with Autism, Sheila and Derek help to launch the first autism support class at his elementary school, where he is flourishing and doing well. Sheila and her family continue to combat autism everyday, with autism rarely winning the battle. 

The Green Family raised over $8000 for the 2011 Autism Speaks Walk, exceeded their goal by $6000.
